Dude you got some killer stuff in your Neo collection. Is there any way you can find the RGBS points on the NGPC?

The FPGA and RAM chips on the lower right are doing all the output. These aren’t located on a regular NGP.

that’s super rad,
I forgot how cool Ganbare was.
I never got as far as you did though.

Ganbare is one of the best friggin NGP games ever. May not have as much as Wario Ware, but the majority of what it has is fun.

What do the four dips do?
Ps – That thing is badass and I’ve always wanted one.

Speechless

At least one dip changes some the mode, possibly PAL. I screen would go black and white, and the screen would jump. Nothing else seemed to make any difference.

How do you control it? Do you use an AES joystick?
Do you know if this enables some of the debugging features that we’ve found on some games? Check here if you haven’t seen this before. http://cfc2english.blogspot.com/2008/09/emulation-news.html
There is also a similar debug mode on Sonic Pocket Adventure that can be accessed with some emulators. I don’t have the link to that one onhand, though.

Yes, you use a home cart controller. Never seen these options before, going to trace the “D” pinout and see if it goes anywhere on the board.
Also, I thought the Sonic debug was accessible through some level select feature that all pockets can do.

What is the JP1 for and what does the toggle switch next to the link port do?
Comment by Xian Xi — September 2, 2009 @ 2:43 pm
Wish I knew what JP1 did, I have no documentation. The toggle switch freezes the image on the screen. However, the game is not paused. Music still plays and the display on the system is still in motion.

Only one seems to toggle PAL mode. The others dont have any visible effect.
