Here’s what the sandwiched boards look like.

Quite possibly the worlds smallest consolized MVS system. I used a MV-1B and basically
“sandwiched” the two PCBs on top of each other. Hundreds of desoldering and soldering
involved. Jrok component RGB converter installed and Unibios 3.0. I will post pictures
of what the sandwiched board looks like outside the case. The case is just an
aluminum project box, cut down and painted. The decals are laser printed on vinyl
from papilio.

Surprised to see a new Magical Drop when I was browsing the app store today. One of my
fav puzzle games of all time! Unfortunately it’s probably the slowest MD has ever been.
Don’t think its possible to use one finger to do everything and be as fast.

Here are a couple of Shanghai Mini protos. The one with the June date code, seems to be
identical to the Japanese version, except it is labeled “TEST GAME 2″. The November one
most likely is the true English version, though I cant seem to find a dump of it. There
are dialog and menu text changes between the two. The November one does have
improved English dialog over the other, but the Japanese text remains the same.
If anyone has an English cart, I’d like to know what the Pause menu says when you’re
playing just a regular game.
EDIT: Added PCB picture.

Game I’m ashamed to admit I own. Noticed there weren’t any captures of it anywhere so
here you go. Its a nice homebrew title, but not worth a (unofficial) commercial release. I
need to see why the audio is off sync, seems to play fine outside of YouTube.

Here are some photos I took when I got it in 06.

When SNK had the game’s site up, they included a few free download-able games that are
present on the NGP. I only found a couple laying around on my PC, but I am pretty sure they
released more than two. Zipped them up and uploaded for your enjoyment.
DOWNLOAD
FYI: The one labeled yabou takes longer to load than you’d expect.

Here is a high res photo of the K2_VIDEO board that outputs the NGP video signal to RGB,
S-Video, or composite. Video of its output is on our YouTube page.
